Description

Extra Long range 1600 metre Wireless DA600+ Door Alert designed to monitor a closed door being opened.

Supplied with a:

  • Long Range Battery Powered Wireless Door Contact.
  • 4 channel Wireless Receiver.
  • Flashing Blue Strobe Light with 3 metres of Cable.
  • Signal Repeater.

In the event of the Door being opened, the Internal Receiver will chime (adjustable volume) together with activating the Flashing Blue Strobe Light for a duration of 10, 60 seconds or 5 minutes (the receiver can be reset at any time to stop the strobe).

The Strobe Light is supplied with 3 metres of Cable (which can be lengthened upon request) and is connected into the Wireless Receiver.

Additional Door Contacts can be added including the standard 300 metre model (004-2820) or the long range 700 metre Solar Powered model (004-3800).

Door Contact:

The wireless range between the Door Contact and Receiver is an impressive 700 metres (line of sight) when the Aerial is fully extended, this equates to around 300 - 500 metres in most applications, this is more than doubled by adding the Signal Repeater (004-2910), if more distance is required you can add up to two more signal repeaters.

The Magnetic Door Contact is powered by a 3.6v AA non-rechargeable Lithium Battery but the additional Solar Panel helps power the Contact to increase life.

They are fitted using double sided tape and a couple of small screws in some applications, and would be fitted onto a door and door frame in such a position that both parts are within 1 - 8 mm from each other when the door is closed. The normal location would be on the top ledge about 1/3rd in from the hinge. 

Receiver:

The Indoor 4 - Channel Wireless Receiver is powered by a standard 3-pin Plug in Transformer and has the following features:

  • 4 x Adjustable Dry Relay N/O or N/C Outputs (often used to trigger auto-diallers, timer relays).
  • Adjustable 12v DC Outputs (often used with sirens & flashing lights).
  • ON/OFF Switch.
  • Volume Control.
  • Will work with up to 128 sets of Sensors.
  • Optional Reminder Bleeps.
  • Exit Delay Option.
Additional Receivers (004-2790) can be added (no limit) to be used in different rooms or buildings.
Signal Repeater:
The Signal Repeater is powered by a 3-pin Plug in Transformer and needs to be mounted in a dry location, it also helps with transmitting signals through walls, floors & ceilings in large commercial buildings.
Additional Accessories:
There are many types of additional sensors that can be added to this system, some of which include:
  • Solar Powered Magnetic Contact.
  • Solar Powered PIR's (indoor & outdoor).
  • Solar Powered Perimeter Beams.
