Do Dummy Camera's Really Work ? ( a question we regularly get asked) !!

Think of a Speed Camera, a large percentage of the population would slow down before going through a speed camera (even those who are perhaps prone to breaking the law), but there will be a small percentage that do not slow down and do not care, these may be people who are drunk, using drugs or in a stolen car with their face partially covered. 

We believe it is the same principle with using Decoy CCTV Cameras, it will deter a percentage of criminals because they want an easy life, they want the risks of being disturbed or caught to be low, so if they think you have survelliance they will probably also think you will have active security alarm system, therefore it would be easier to move onto a property that has no (or limited) security.

Conclusion:
Therefore our conclusion would be that Yes Decoy CCTV Cameras used on their own, or together with an active system (to increase awareness), ideal and recommended for most types of Holiday Homes.

For such a small cost for a real looking Dummy Camera, we believe it just makes sense.
