Solar Powered Wireless BT PIR & External Solar Siren Alarm Kit, supplied with a Remote Control which will Arm & Disarm the Alarm from up to 50 metres away (allowing you to choose when the Alarm is active).

The Alarm consists of:

1 x Solar Powered Weatherproof BT PIR.
1 x Solar Powered Weatherproof Siren & Strobe.
1 x Remote Control.

BT Outdoor Solar PIR Alarm

The Alarm can be used as a:

Stand-alone Alarm protecting a Driveway, Yard or Outside a Shed, Garage or Workshop.
Or in conjunction with the full range of BT Battery Alarms.
Or with the GSM UltraPIR & UltraDIAL Alarms (which will result in you getting phone calls and text messages if triggered).

PIR:

The weatherproof PIR is powered by a built in Battery which is charged & maintained by a top mounting Solar Panel in all normal weather (there is also an additional charging port on the back of the PIR should you wish to give it a maintenance charge one or twice a year if placed in a shady location).

Solar Wireless PIR

It has a 15 metre detection range, an elongated lens designed to narrow the beam (to help avoid detecting small ground animals) and a wireless range to the Solar Siren (or other accessories) of 100 metres, which equates to around 50 metres in most applications.

The ideal position for mounting the PIR is around 1.5 to 2.0 metre from the ground, aimed level (not towards the ground).

The PIR has 3 sensitivity settings to suit most applications.

Additional PIR's can be added.

DA-600 PIR

The PIR could also be fitted into a Protective Wire Cage (click here to view the relevant cage):

The Solar Powered Siren & Strobe, has a built in 130 Decibel Siren, Flashing Strobe & Tamper Switch, for use with our BT Wireless Shed & Garage Alarms.

Wireless Solar Siren

It can be used in 2 ways:

Solar Siren: when mounted in a location open to daylight, it can be used with its built in re-chargeable Lithium Battery, which is charged & maintained by the built in Solar Siren.
Battery Siren: when used in a very sheltered location with minimal access to daylight, it can be used with standard AA Batteries, batteries would still last 9 - 12 months (depending on the number of activations).

The Siren is fully weatherproof and has a slow flashing strobe light during standby and rapid flashing strobe lights during activation.

The Siren has also been designed to activate 15 seconds after passing the PIR which will not make the location of the PIR obvious.

The Remote Control is used to Arm & Disarm the Alarm from up to 50 metres away allowing you to choose when you want the Alarm active (additional remote controls can be added).

Remote Control for the Alarm

How it Works:

The PIR & Siren are positioned in suitable locations (ideally open to daylight allowing for the charging process) and are simply Armed & Disarmed using the Remote Control.

If someone passes by the PIR, the Solar Siren will activate approximately 15 seconds afterwards.

If additional accessories have been added (BT Alarms, UltraPIR & UltraDIAL), these would also be triggered by the PIR.

Additional Accessories:

You can add additional Alarm accessories to this Alarm (now or in the future), options include:

Additional Internal Sirens.
Additional Solar Sirens.
3 types of Magnetic Door or Window Contacts (1 - 2 - 3).
Non GSM PIR's.
Remote Controls.
UltraPIR & UltraDIAL GSM Alarms.
