Even though the UltraCom Caller Stations are weatherproof (IP54), these Hoods are designed to give further protection from extreme weather conditions (which can only be an advantage to any Electrical product).
The Hood will be attached to the Gate Post or Wall by using the four screw holes, the cables can enter via the central access hole whilst the Caller Station is attached using the eight screws supplied.
