The Wireless operating range between the PIR's & Receivers is 600 metres (line of sight), which equates to around 200 - 400 metres in most applications, more than enough for many Gardens or domestic Driveway.

PIR's:

The weatherproof Brown PIR's are powered by a built in Battery which are charged & maintained by the top mounting Solar Panel, they have a 15 metre detection range and with an elongated lens designed detector to help avoid detecting small ground animals.

The ideal position for mounting the PIR's is around 1.5 to 2.0 metre from the ground, aimed level (not towards the ground).

The PIR's have 3 sensitivity settings to suit most applications.

Additional Brown or Black PIR's can be added (up to 32 PIR's with any single system), each PIR could trigger a different chime on the Receiver.

Receivers:

Supplied with two Wireless Receivers:

  • 1 x Desk or Wall mounted model which is supplied with a USB Cable & 3-pin Plug.
  • 1 x Plug in Type (plugs directly into a 3-pin wall socket).

There is the option of fitting 4 x AA Batteries (not supplied) into the Desk & Wall mounting Receiver (to act as a Battery Backup).

They both have volume control (4 levels) and 35 different chimes to choose from, allowing you to have a different tune for different PIR's.

The Receivers can be used with up to 32 PIR's, you can also add additional Receivers (no limit) if you want an alert in multiple rooms. You can add both types of Receivers including the DA600-TR & the standard DA600.
