Description

Battery Powered External Wireless PIR Alarm System, supplied with:

  • 2 x Battery Powered Wireless Sirens.
  • 6 x Outdoor Wireless PIR's.
  • 4 x Remote Controls.

One Siren acts as the control panel which is armed and disarmed using the Remote Controls supplied (keypad is available) from up to 50 metres away, the second Siren connects to this Siren Controller by a unique wireless signal, when triggered both Sirens will activate.

This is a very popular alarm for locations with no power, examples would be:

  • Scaffolding.
  • Farm Yards.
  • Workshops.
  • Gardens.
  • Temporary Installations.
  • Rapid Deployment Installations.

PIR's:

The Wireless PIR's can be mounted up to 150 metres away from the Siren and are powered by a standard PP3 battery, they have a unique rubber cover that makes the detection pattern far more narrow (helping to prevent false alarms from small ground animals) although the aperture can be made bigger should you need a wider detection area.

Mounting the PIR Sensor:

There are two methods of mounting these External PIR's for outdoor operation:

  1. Approximately 1 to 1.5 metres from the ground, with the hood left with the standard size access hole and the PIR aimed horizontally across the ground (this will avoid detection from Cats & Foxes).
  2. 3 - 5 metres from the ground, pointing down towards the ground (angle can be adjusted to suit the application), the front access hole in the rubber hood would normally be opened up to give a wider detection angle.

There is no limit to how many additional PIR's can be added to our range of Wireless Smart Alarms.

Customers will normally simply use cable ties when fitting the PIR's to Scaffolding.

Sirens:

The Sirens are powered by four standard 'D' type batteries (which will last for approximately 2 years in most applications) although there is an optional plug in transformer for locations with easy access to a power supply.

When activated both Sirens activate a 120 Decibel Siren & bright Flashing Strobe Lights, the duration of these can be adjusted between 1 - 10 minutes during installation.

If you are fitting the Sirens to a Scaffold, we can offer Scaffold plates for Easy Installation.

The Siren has other features including:

  • Tamper Protection.
  • Service Mode (allows customers to silence alarm for any service operations, remote control required).
  • Easy to follow installation instructions.

Also available is a matching Dummy Siren Box, normally fitted to the rear of the property !!

A full selection of Alarm Accessories can be added to this system including:

  • Additional External PIR's (no limit).
  • Internal PIR's (no limit).
