Description

Photo Cell Protect 800 Wireless Loud Bell Kit supplied with an Outdoor Wireless Receiver & Loud Ringing Bell. Ideal for applications across Warehouse, Factory & Gate Entrances (if power is available on one side).

It also works in conjunction with all other Protect-800 Receivers & Transmitters. 

 

The kit is supplied with the following:

  • 1 x Protect-800 Wireless Transmitter (mounted inside a weatherproof box).
  • 1 x set of Weatherproof Photo Cells.
  • 1 x Outdoor Weatherproof Receiver.
  • 1 x Weatherproof Bell.
  • 2 x 3 -pin Plug in Transformers.

The Wireless Transmitter has a working range back to the Receiver of 800 metres (line of sight), which equates to around 400 - 600 metres in most applications.

How it Works !!

The weatherproof Photo Cells are supplied as a pair which need to be mounted either side of a suitable Entrance in a position where they are facing each other (maximum distance 12 metres), one Photo Cell is powered by the Plug in Transformer (supplied), whilst the second Photo Cell is powered by a Battery (supplied) for easier Installation.

Connected to the powered Photo Cell (by 3 metres of cable) is a Battery powered Transmitter (mounted inside a weatherproof box), which will send a Wireless signal to the Outdoor Receiver when the Photo Cell Beams are triggered.

The Wireless Receiver which can be mounted either Outside or Inside (ideal for a Factory , Warehouse or Yard application) would have the 85 Decibel Bell connected into it by a short length of Cable and is powered by a 3-pin Plug in Transformer (supplied).

The duration of the Bell is fully adjustable and would be set to suit the application (the Bell can also be turned OFF by using the remote control (supplied) for times when the Bell is not required.

When a person or vehicle passes through the Photo Cell Beams the Bell will activate for the chosen duration (or before if turned off using the remote control) notifying you to the presence of a Visitor or Intruder.

Outdoor Receiver Details:

The Outdoor Receiver has two channels with a 12v Output which can be connected to most 12v DC devices, both channels can be operated by up to four Protect-800 Sensors.

Duration:

The duration of the 12v DC Outputs is fully adjustable (by selecting combinations of the internal dip-switches) from 1 seconds to Latched ON, the full list is as below:

  • 1 second or minute.
  • 3 seconds or minutes.
  • 10 seconds or minutes.
  • 15 seconds or minutes.
  • 20 seconds or minutes.
  • 30 seconds or minutes.
  • Latched ON (until disarmed using the remote control).

Remote Control:

The specially designed remote control supplied with this Outdoor Receiver has the following features:

  • Arm & Disarm either channel on the Outdoor Receiver.
  • Trigger a optional SOS button which would activate the connected accessories (regardless of if the receiver is disarmed) which could be a Siren, Buzzer, Floodlight or any 12v DC device. This device would latch on until the OFF Button is pressed on any Remote Control paired to the Receiver. 

The Remote Control has an intelligent Feedback LED Indicator which confirms that the signal you have sent to the Outdoor Receiver is successful.

Additional Remote Controls can be added (there is no limit).

The operating distance between the Remote Control & Outdoor Receiver is 800 metres (line of sight) which relates to around 400 - 600 metres in most applications. This allows you to Disarm the Receiver before passing through a Protect 800 Detector, or Arming the Receiver after leaving the premises.

Powered by two standard AAA Batteries (supplied).

Bell:

The 12v DC 85 Decibel Bell can be used inside or outside (popular inside warehouses and factories), up to two could be used on each of the 12v Output terminals on this Receiver.

Standard Indoor Receivers:

You can also add the standard Indoor Receivers (004-4110) to this system allowing you to have notification inside the house (regardless of if the Outdoor Receiver is Armed or Disarmed). 

This is a unique Outdoor Receiver which can be used in so many types of applications, not found in any other Driveway Alarm System !!
