Battery Powered, Wireless Gate Contact Kits, designed to help secure an external gate, working in conjunction with our range of KP Wireless GSM Alarm Systems.

The gate can be located up to 100 metres away from the alarm receiver (with no obstructions), with typical obstructions 30 - 50 metres would be more realistic (further distance can be achieved if a wireless signal repeater, part number 005-0760 can be located between the gate and receiver).

This Wireless Gate Kit, can also be used in detached buildings which are susceptible to damp conditions.

The magnetic switch is normally fitted onto the gate post with the magnet being fitted onto the actual gate, the switch is connected to the battery powered transmitter & weatherproof box by 300 mm of cable sleeved in a steel protected cover, should the cable be cut the alarm would be triggered.
