KP9 Bells Only Gate Alarm or Alert Kit

KP9 'Bells Only' Wireless Gate Alarm Kit can be used as a Chime Alert or Internal Siren for when the Gate is opened, up to 98 additional accessories can still be added to also use the system as a:

• Intruder Alarm.
• Smoke Alarm.
• Water Alarm.
• Panic Alarm.

With this standard kit, there is 1 x Magnetic Contact (which would normally be connected to the gatepost), 1 x Magnet (which would normally be fitted to the gate), 1 x Battery Powered Wireless Transmitter (which is connected to the Magnetic Contact) and a Control Panel inside the house.

The Control Panel is mains powered but also has a built in battery back up (for operation through power cuts) and has a built in Keypad, if you choose to use it as a Chime unit you will get a one of chime (typical doorbell sound) each time the gate is opened.

If you choose to use the Built in Siren (which has an adjustable time duration) on the Control Panel, this will be triggered when the Gate is opened, but only after you have Armed the Alarm.

You can add a Remote Control which can be used to Arm & Disarm the Alarm Panel from up to 50 metres away.

The working distance between the Gate & Control Panel is 100 metres (line of sight) which equates to around 30 - 50 metres in most applications, you can add a Mains Powered Wireless Repeater which will double the operational distance if required.

Wireless Gate Contact:

The Wireless Transmitter is supplied inside a weatherproof box and is connected to the Magnetic Contact by around 300 mm of steel protected cable, the Contact would be mounted on the Gate Post in such a position that when closed you can fit the magnet supplied so that both halves are nearly touching.

When the Gate is opened, a Wireless Signal would be transmitted once to the Control Panel inside the house, if the Gate is left open this will not flatten the Transmitters battery.

This Alarm Panel has a built in Siren which can be programmed to operate between 1 second to 16 minutes when activated, it can be turned off before this time by the owner using a Remote Control or build in Keypad

Installation Method:

1. Fit the Magnetic Contact onto a Gate Post.
2. Fit the Magnet onto the Gate (both the magnet and switch need to be nearly touching when the door is closed).
3. Mount the weatherproof box which includes the Transmitter onto the Gate Post.
