12v DC Heavy Duty Electronic Door Latch with Guide (Fail Secure) designed to automate your lock using Intercoms, Keypads & Switches.

The latch is fitted into your door frame working alongside the original lock, this results in you being able to:

  • Use your original lock as normal (with keys or revolving door knobs/handles).
  • As an Electric Lock (when connected to Intercoms, Keypads & Switches).

This Locking Latch requires a 12v DC supply to release the lock, it will remain locked during a power cut, although customers can still unlock the door using keys and revolving door knobs/handles).

This Heavier Duty version has a strong guide that will help the Door Latch slide into the locking mechanism as the Door closes.

We would advise it is used with some type of timer relay board which allows you to program a suitable duration to release the lock (this varies between different installations), we can offer our Door Locking Circuit Board !!!!
