3G GSM Audio Intercom supplied with a small Electronic Door Latch (fail secure model) allows you to communicate and unlock the Door with a Visitor (via a mobile phone) from anywhere in the world.
It also allows up to 200 users to operate the Door Lock by sending the system a SMS or calling it by Phone.
The simple Electronic Door Latch (fail secure model) allows you to automate your locking mechanism whilst in most cases keeping the original lock & keys.
The latch is fitted into your door frame working alongside the original lock, this results in you being able to:
This Locking Latch requires a 12v DC supply to release the lock (which would be supplied by the Intercom & Power Supply supplied), it will remain locked during a power cut, we can offer a fail safe model for customers needing it to unlock during a power cut).
The latch is a compact size of 145 (L) x 25 (W) x 30 (D) mm.
The Intercom is full of features you would normally expect from a GSM Intercom, these include:
Power Supply:
The Intercom is powered by 12v DC, and the Lock 12v - 24v DC (a 12v Transformer is supplied to power both)
Receiving Call:
When a Visitor presses the Call Button, the Intercom will call the first programmed Telephone Number, this person can then open up clear two-way communication with the Caller, and have the option to release the Output Relay which is connected to the Door Lock by simply pressing # on their Phone, after this they can press * or 0 - 9 digit on their Phone to end the Call.
If the first person does not answer their phone or doesn't end the Call, the Intercom can be programmed to call four further key-holders in order of 2 to 5 (this function can be turned OFF).
SIM Card:
The Intercom operates using 3G Mobile Phone technology (SIM Card) therefore a mobile phone signal is required at the location of the Intercom, the Intercom uses a standard size SIM Card (not supplied), but a Roaming SIM Card can be added in the shopping cart.
Programming:
The Intercom is programmed by sending a series of SMS to the SIM Card Number (inserted in the device).
Aerial:
The Intercom is supplied with an external aerial with a magnetic base and 3 metres of cable which is connected using the screw in connectors.
12v Plug in Transformers for use with any of the UltraCom Wireless Video & Audio Intercom Caller Stations.
