Description

The duration of the Bell is fully adjustable and controlled using a special long range Remote Control. When Armed the Bell will trigger for the chosen duration when the Push Button has been pressed, you can also trigger the Bell at any time using the SOS Button on the Remote Control.

Push Button:

The Heavy Duty Steel Push Button (with Please Ring embossed onto it) is connected to a Battery Powered Wireless Transmitter (which is located inside a plastic box) by 3 metres of Cable. This allows you to fit the Push Button into the most desirable location and the Transmitter into a safe location suitable for wireless Transmission.

The Transmission range between the Transmitter & Wireless Receiver is an impressive 800 metres (line of sight), which equates to around 400 - 600 metres in most applications.

The Wireless Transmitters are powered by a 3v CR123A Battery (supplied) which would last 12 - 18 months in most applications.

How it Works:

When the H/D Push Button is pressed a Wireless signal is transmitted to the Outdoor Receiver, if the Receiver is in the Armed status then the Loud 85 Decibel Bell will activate for the chosen duration (this can be turned off by the owners or staff before the duration has elapsed by using a special long range (800 metre) remote control.

The owner or staff could also trigger the Bell using the SOS Button on the Remote Control (supplied) in the event of a Medical or Security emergency, in these situations the Bell will stay latched ON until it is turned OFF using the special remote control which can be a useful additional Safety procedure (more remote controls can be added). It is also possible to connect a different sounding Siren on channel two for use in Medical or Security emergencies.

The fully weatherproof Outdoor Receiver is powered by a Plug in 12v Transformer (the cable can enter the box through waterproof glands at the bottom or from the rear panel) and controlled by a special long range (800 metre) Remote Control.

You could also add an Internal Chime Receiver (004-4110) to the system allowing you to be notified when you are inside the House or Office.

Duration:

The duration of the Bell is fully adjustable (by selecting combinations of the internal dip-switches) from 1 seconds to Latched ON, the full list is as below:

1 second or minute.
3 seconds or minutes.
10 seconds or minutes.
15 seconds or minutes.
20 seconds or minutes.
30 seconds or minutes.
Latched ON (until disarmed using the remote control).

The Outdoor Receiver has two channels with a 12v Output, each channel can be operated by up to four Protect-800 Sensors, these include:

The specially designed remote control supplied with this Outdoor Receiver has the following features:

Arm & Disarm either channel on the Outdoor Receiver.
Trigger a optional SOS button which would activate the connected accessories (regardless of if the receiver is disarmed) which could be a Siren, Buzzer, Floodlight or any 12v DC device. This device would latch on until the OFF Button is pressed on any Remote Control paired to the Receiver.

The Remote Control has an intelligent Feedback LED Indicator which confirms that the signal you have sent to the Outdoor Receiver is successful.

Additional Remote Controls can be added (there is no limit).

The operating distance between the Remote Control & Outdoor Receiver is 800 metres (line of sight) which relates to around 400 - 600 metres in most applications. This allows you to Disarm the Receiver from most locations within the business.

Standard Indoor Receivers:

You can also add the standard Indoor Receivers (004-4110) to this system allowing you to have notification in the form of a chosen chime in different parts of the building (regardless of if the Outdoor Receiver is Armed or Disarmed).
