KP9 3G GSM Fire Door Alarm

KP9 3G GSM Wireless Fire Door Alarm will activate a Built in Siren (optional, which can be switched to silent) together with contacting key-holders by Telephone & Text Message if the Fire Door is opened (whilst the Alarm panel is Armed).

This kit is supplied with the following (although up to 94 additional wireless sensors can be added):

• 1 x Long Range Wireless Magnetic Door Contact.
• 1 x 3G Control Panel.

Door Contact:

The long range Wireless Door Contact can be fitted onto a Fire Door up to 300 metres (open air) away from the GSM Control Panel (which equates to around 100 metres in most applications) although a Signal Repeater can be added to help punch the Wireless Signal through multiple walls if required. Many more Wireless Door Contacts can be added to the system.

The Door Contact and Magnet are fitted onto a Fire Door & Frame in a position which results in both parts being close to touching whilst the Door is closed.

Control Panel:

The GSM Control Panel is powered by a simple 3-pin Plug in Transformer and has a battery back up system to cope with power cuts, it is Armed & Disarmed using the built in Keypad, although a Remote Control can be added if required. The Panel can also be used via an APP if required.  

SIM Card:

The Alarm Panel requires a SIM Card (standard size) which can make Phone Calls & send Text Messages (no data is required), you can select a SIM Card at the top of this page or supply your own.

Communication:

When the KP9 GSM Panel calls key-holders by Telephone, the key-holders have the option to:

• Press * on their Telephone (this will stop the alarm calling other key-holders but remain fully armed.
• Press # on their Telephone (this will stop the alarm calling other key-holders but will disarm the panel.

Sirens:

This Alarm Panel has a built in Siren which can be programmed to operate between 1 second to 16 minutes when activated, it can be turned off before this time by the owner using the built in Keypad, it can also be used in Silent mode for some or all zones (often used in silent mode when activated by a panic button).
